- She Jams is open to women worldwide without age restrictions, but participants are expected to have experience in at least one area of game development.

- Do not worry if you do not have a team, a channel will be provided on the She Jams Discord server for participants to connect and form teams! 

Each team must consist of at least two members, and should consist of at least 2 nationalities.

- All submissions must be uploaded before 7 PM October 28th KSA Time.

- Mentorship support will be available during designated hours leading up to the submission deadline. No exceptions for late submissions.

- All team leads must register their team in order for their game to be eligible for judging

The winners of She Jams 2025 will be announced at the Award Ceremony in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) November 1st

For those who cannot attend in person, all participants will receive detailed instructions on how to attend the ceremony via a streaming platform. In addition to that, a recording of the ceremony will be shared as well.

Requirements for Originality:

• Submissions must be original creations developed during the duration of She Jams. This includes all code, design, and artwork specifically created for the game jam.

Use of Pre-existing Assets:

• Participants are allowed to use pre-existing assets (such as art, sound, music) under the following conditions:

  • The total use of pre-existing assets must not exceed 30% of the final game content.

  • All pre-existing assets must be clearly referenced and credited in the game’s documentation and credits section.

  • Participants must ensure they have the legal right to use the assets, adhering to any licensing agreements or copyright laws.

Documentation and Attribution:

• A detailed list of all pre-existing assets used must be provided, including:

  • The name of the asset.

  • The creator or source of the asset.

  • A link to the asset (if applicable).

  • The specific license under which the asset is used (e.g., Creative Commons, royalty-free, etc.).

• Participants must include this list within the game’s documentation and prominently within the game’s credits section.

Original Content Requirement:

• At least 70% of the game’s content, including major gameplay elements, story, and primary visual and audio assets, must be newly created during the game jam period.

Intellectual Property Rights:

• Participants retain full ownership of their intellectual property created during She Jams.

• By participating, participants grant She Jams organizers a non-exclusive license to use their submissions for promotional and non-commercial purposes related to the event.
